Great little place, Born auf den Darß. Nice apartment with every comfort and the same cafe and bakery. PRICE great for 4 people.

Nowhere in Born was there any cake at 3:45 p.m. on a Saturday. The salvation was the Alte Bäckerei 😍Very delicious cake and the coffee was great too. The service was very friendly. We would love to come back. And breakfast is also secured. Bread rolls were also taken away.

Mediocre bakery with a relatively small selection, at least for a Swabian. At EDEKA in Born, it's faster and tastes better, at least for me.

The service is not that nice and if you have breakfast outside you won't get breakfast

Breakfast until 11:00 a.m. We were there in time. Waited in front of the store due to the corona. We were finally at the bar about 2 minutes before 11. As the information provided we would be in a cafe and would be served at the table. Ok we got out again and waited a long time until we were finally served. Waitress comes to the table without mouth and nose protection and explains breakfast to us only until 11. We ask if we can have a croissant and a coffee. We should be patient until she has cleared everything. Then left

We signed up for breakfast and were not disappointed either. Breakfast plentiful, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. You could start Sunday comfortably there.

After we were turned away very unfriendly in the Peterssonhof restaurant, we went to the "OLD BAKERY". Service very friendly and accommodating. Got a table right away. Cake and coffee was delicious. I can only recommend. Very customer friend

There is a large selection of fresh rolls in the morning. Tarts and other pieces of cake are offered in the afternoon.

We made a spontaneous stop here yesterday on our extensive bike tour and have not regretted it. The waitress was very friendly and the service was very good. The cake was delicious and the ice cream was just fine. Thank you so much! The next time we're on the Darß, we'll definitely look back :).

In bright sunshine, we used the cozy terrace of the "old bakery" in Born to try a hot chocolate and a piece of the marzipan cake. Both tasted very fresh and delicious. The service was very courteous and served us right at the table. The selection of pies and cakes was large. Smaller pastries were rather rare, but it was already in the afternoon. We are happy to come back even in bad weather, as there is also nice seating inside in a lovingly furnished hall. It is very nice that photos and texts on the walls remind of the previous owners.

Very friendly, the breakfast buffet was opened especially for us three quarters of an hour earlier, mind you! The breakfast was lovingly arranged and very tasty. It was asked again and again if everything is to our satisfaction, so very attentive and the price is reasonable, we will definitely be back.

Were here for a small snack at lunchtime. Bakery with a nice, small restaurant that is furnished with great attention to detail. Very friendly service. Had the homemade Solyanka. Very tasty, like nuts! On the way another piece of chocolate and almond TART, not a cake, because it is thinner than a cake! ☝🏻😉 That was a blast. We recommend!!! 👍🏻
